Classes There is nothing like learning a new skill. We offer an introduction to kayaking class (Basic Strokes) & a more advanced class (Basic Rescues). Call 206.463.9257 or email to schedule private classes.
Tours A great way to explore Quartermaster Harbor! We offer guided morning and evening tours and if you can time your paddle near a full moon, we have moonlight tours which keep you on the water past dark to watch the moon come up over Maury Island. Check out the calendar.

Blake Island Excursions Want to explore Blake Island by kayak? We have partnered with Argosy Cruises and Washington State Parks to bring guided kayak excursions & hourly rentals throughout July and August. We will be open Friday- Sunday and the guided tours run from 10am-2pm with hourly paddling from 2:30pm-6pm. Have your own boat, you can join the fun while you are moored on Blake. No boat... Argosy will get you there in style. Choose from camping excursions with paddling, a full day of fun including the cruise from Seattle, guided kayak tour and the memorable Tillicum Village experience of dinner and a show, or the Sunday option of cruise, guided tour, eating lunch on a beach and returning to Seattle by 3:30pm. Single Kayak $20 per hour or $45 for 3 hours
Tandem Kayak $30 per hour or $65 for 3 hours
Triple Kayak $30 per hour or $65 for 3 hours
Paddle Board $17.50 per hour or $40 for 3 hours

Single Kayak $85 per day ($70 each additional day)
Double Kayak $125 per day ($80 each additional day)

If you are staying on the water, we can deliver! $40 for door to door service. We can also deliver for one-way paddling.
All rental rates include paddle and PFD, kayak rentals also include bilge pump and paddle float. Wetsuits are provided free-of-charge upon request.
summer fun pass
10 hours of paddling for $125 (1 punch for paddleboards, single kayaks & 2 punches for tandem & triples per hour). Available for walk in hourly rentals during normal business hours only.
Vashon Watersports is located at the Jensen Point Boathouse located on the Burton Peninsula of Vashon Island WA.
We are just a short, 20 minute ferry ride from Seattle or Tacoma and only 10 minutes from Southworth on the Kitsap Peninsula.
Pedestrians, cars and bicycles can use Washington State Ferries.
From West Seattle: Fauntleroy-to-Vashon Route

From Kitsap Peninsula: Southworth-to-Vashon Route
DOWNTOWN SEATTLE: Pedestrians and bicycles can also come directly from downtown Seattle on the King County Water Taxi .
Driving Directions: We’re located on the Burton Peninsula – getting here is easy…..
From the North end ferry: head straight down Vashon highway. Go straight through 3 four-way stop signs and turn left at the fourth; then either left or right at the next stop sign (it’s a loop) and drive to the Jensen Point Boathouse, 8900 SW Harbor Drive.
From the South end ferry: head straight up Vashon Highway and turn right at the first four-way stop sign; then left or right at the next stop sign(it’s a loop) and drive to the Jensen Point Boathouse, 8900 SW Harbor Drive.
